 2021 ANNUAL FESTIVAL IN OTA IS FULLY ENDORSED



The Ogun State Ministry Of Culture & Tourism has reliterated it's commitment at making "Odun Omo Iganmode Afeleja" in Ota, a State affairs.


The Chairman, Central Planning Committee, Mr Dele Bankole together with the Planning Committee crew made this declaration while visiting four coronet monarchs in the ancient town to solicit their maximum and unalloyed support for the much anticipated fiesta in Ota.



The Chairman, Dele Bankole added that Iganmode festival will be a memorable one in the entire Ogun State saying all hands are on deck to facilitate smooth annual festival having been endorsed by both the state and entire Obas of Awori land.


The Chairman, sub committee Media and Publicity,Erelu Afedesewa Kafayat Orisile said the visitation to the monarchs yielded positive results as all the royal fathers showed commitment towards a successful festival adding that

all logistics have been put in place to achieve the best in the coming annual festival.


Orisile added that The “Odun Omo Iganmode Afeleja” is the biggest annual cultural festival in Ota Aworiland saying the 2021 edition comes with the theme; “Culture: A Module For Sustainable Leadership In Nigeria”.


 "The ancient town is gearing up for an unprecedented week-long display of the Awori cultural values and ethics kicking off on the 13th of December with grand finale coming up on December 18", Orisile explained.


The Vice-chairman of the planning Committee, Odun Omo Iganmode afeleja, Princess Adenike Akindele-Eleku  and the chairman sub-committee, Prince Femi Fadina enjoined all residents and indigenes both at home and sundry to be law abiding during and after the festival as all the security agencies will be fully on ground to ensure security of lives and property.
