MAPOLY Radio Begins Live Transmission
ABEOKUTA - Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State on Saturday recorded another milestone as the much anticipated Polytechnic's radio hit the airwaves.
The radio station, MAPOLY FM which was licensed by the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) to operate on 99.7 frequency modulation since 2015, finally began its full operation on the terrestrial airwaves.
According to the Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji upon assumption of office in December 2019, this feat was to create a platform for Mass Communication students of the Polytechnic to have practical experience of modern-day broadcast journalism.
